Christ Lives!

Christ Lives!

When I was preparing for the Easter Sunday Message I had a sense that there needed to be an apologetic component to it. I hadn’t had that for several years, but for this year, the Holy Spirit was leading this way. Our text was Galatians 2.20 “I am crucified with Christ; nevertheless I live, yet not I, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.” The emphasis was that here is evidence that “Christ Lives”. He lives in people. Paul explains how this happened in Galatians 1, 2 and 1 Corinthians 15. As I was preparing I found this lecture by Dr. Gary Habermas on the reliability of the Biblical account of the Resurrection. Since Habermas teaches at Liberty I asked my good friend Tommy Ice if he knew him since I wanted to invite him to our Church. Tommy told me that he did indeed know him and that he is considered “Dr. Resurrection”. Tommy went Γö¼├íon to say “he is known as the greatest expert apologist for the resurrection on the planet”. Γö¼├íMaranatha!
