As we all know, the one constant in life is change. It is with great sadness, but also great hope, that we announce that Pastor Scott Gallatin went on to eternity with the Lord on April 16, 2024.

Pastor Scott, in years past, had used this blog to reach out to those who had questions about God and to share his joy in serving his Lord. Unfortunately, that time has drawn to a close and we will be closing down this blog in the near future.

As always, we covet your prayers for Pastor Scott’s immediate family as well as the church body here at Calvary Chapel of the Finger Lakes. As you can imagine, this is a time wherein we all need to draw closer in our relationship with Jesus and show His light to everyone around us.

Joni & Ken’s Visit

We are so privileged to have Joni & Ken share with us at our Church on Friday night August 14th at 7pm. They have been champions of endurance much like those listed in Hebrews 11 and champions of those with disabilities. If you know someone who has a disability please invite them or bring them as we are making renovations to the Church to facilitate them. Even though they will share on the Lord’s grace in difficulties in marriage, it isn’t limited to the married. No matter who you are, this is a once in a life time opportunity to be with such deeply spiritual people like Joni & Ken. Whether you live in Syracuse, Rochester or Buffalo it is well worth the drive. Seating is limited so tickets must be purchased to ensure you have a seat.
